This greek yogurt smoothie recipe blows all other smoothies out of the water. Super tasty, and to make things extra healthy, my simple secret ingredient…greek yogurt!
It’s not only healthy and delicious, it looks great as well. For this recipe I’m using Chobani’s blueberry flavoured yogurt. Although, if you’re going for extra healthy, it’s perfectly fine to use plain or homemade GY and throw in some blueberries yourself. Next to the banana, strawberries and blueberry yogurt I also like to add about two tablespoons of hemp seeds. While not altering the flavor that much, they contain lots of nutrients, such as protein. The same counts for chia seeds. No worries if you don’t have hemp or chia lying around the house, they’re optional.
Although smoothie shops are great, you can save lots of money by making them yourself at home. They can be just as tasty and healthy, if not more! If you like smoothies as much as I do, check out my other recipes. Who would have ever guessed a pina colada could be healthy?
You can play around with the amount of water you add, if you like your smoothie to be less thick.

Berry banana greek yogurt smoothie recipe
- 6 ounces Blueberry Greek Yogurt (I used Chobani's)
- 1 banana
- 4 frozen strawberries
- ¼ cup cold water
- 4 ice cubes
- *Optional 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- Blend all the ingredients together in the order that's listed above.
1/4 cup = 59 ml
